Do you find it difficult to eat a healthy diet because you are concerned about
carbs? If you said yes then you are not alone. Now with our new Dietrine Carb
Blocker we offer a 100% safe and stimulant free natural product. Dietrine
Carb Blocker is an exclusive formulation of research-supported botanical ingredients.
How Does Our Carb Blocker Work?
During the digestive process, your body converts carbohydrates,
found in starchy foods such as potatoes and pasta, into sugar. Your body
does this by breaking-down the carbohydrate molecule with alpha amylase,
an enzyme that is produced in the pancreas.
These sugar calories are either burned off, through exercise, or stored as
fat cells for future use. Unfortunately, inactivity means that these stored
fat cells accumulate. The result is weight gain.Dietrine Carb Blocker with
Phase 2®, an exclusive, all-natural nutritional ingredient extracted from
white kidney beans, "neutralizes" the digestive enzyme alpha amylase
before it can convert starch into glucose, thereby reducing the amount of
carbs absorbed. Essentially, it allows the carbohydrates to pass through the
system with less caloric intake.* Preliminary research and clinical studies
indicate that the Phase 2® starch blocker may reduce the absorption of
starch, thereby reducing the amount of carbs absorbed, resulting in significantly
less net caloric intake.
Are Carb Blockers Safe?
Yes! our Dietrine Carb Blocker is absolutely 100% safe and effective. Dietrine Carb Blocker is 100% natural with no known side
effects. There are no known interactions with any other herbal dietary
supplement or drug. Our Carb Blocker contains no ephedra,
no ma huang, no ephedrine and no stimulants of any kind
and are extremely safe if taken as directed.
Don't Be Confused By Low-Priced Imitations!
Dietrine Carb Blocker contains 100% of the genuine Phase
2 Starch Neutralizer®. Do not be fooled by cheap products that
may contain a generic white kidney bean extract plus some Phase
2. Remember you get what you pay for!!! These products may NOT contain
100% of the Phase 2® extract and will not work as well. Our
product is manufactured in the United States of America in a fully
cGMP-compliant, certified manufacturing facility. You cannot purchase
a higher quality product anywhere, and we stand behind its potency
and effectiveness 100%.
What is Phase 2?
Phase 2® is an amazing, non-stimulant, all-natural nutritional
ingredient that is derived from the white kidney bean through a proprietary
process. As a starch blocker it is the first nutritional ingredient that
has been clinically & scientifically proven to neutralize starch,
found in your favorite foods such as potatoes, breads, pasta, rice, corn
and crackers.Phase 2® is a safe yet powerful nutritional ingredient, clinically
studied to reduce the absorption of carbohydrate calories. Phase 2® allows you to enjoy those foods that you love
without all the calories.
Dietrine Carb Blocker with Phase 2® has demonstrated clinical
efficacy through several recent U.S. university-based human studies.
Dietrine Carb Blocker with Phase 2® has demonstrated safety
through LD50 studies, the gold standard test for acute and chronic
The white kidney beans used to make Phase 2® are non-GMO (genetically
modified) while the extraction process uses purified water - no solvents!!
Virtually all impurities are removed during extraction process.

Here are the steps and all the information you need to be successful. 1) Learn All About It. It's great to be able to
September 3, 2013. How to Create an Atkins Diet Menu Plan: 8 Steps (with Pictures) (http://www.wikihow.com/Create-an-Atkins-Diet-Menu-P lan) How to Create an Atkins Diet Menu Plan. The Atkins diet has been well known for helping dieters lose weight quickly by avoiding carbohydrates and eating a lot
Comments about this video: the study added excess fat to carb heavy foods...Atkins do low carb, so that difference alone changes everything. Meat takes a while to digest so it stays in your stomach longer. It's bulky so you won't want to eat for a while because well your dinner of meat is still in you...6 to 8 hrs. It fills you up so quick because it's so bulky. Kind of like when you eat and drink soda at the same time. The gas from the soda will take up lots of space in your stomach so you will probably not finish all of your food. At least this is my experience :).I don't get why people put themselves through these diets. It's not easy, but as long as you cut down the unhealthy foods while replacing them with healthier foods and add exercise, you will be on track to loosing weight and feeling much better about yourself.Tried Atkins diet when I was 18,a long time ago, lost 15 Kg in a month, and it took me 15 years to get my cholesterol to get back to an average level.. very dangerous diet..For me, it's simple. I've struggled with weight for most of my 47 years. The only way I was able to lose weight was through the Atkins diet. About 25 pounds in 5 weeks. I was about 40 pounds overweight prior to that loss. If you think about it before agriculture the Atkins diet would have been the diet our ancestors live on, low fat, low caw the pyramid is what cause our fat genes, believe it or not.
What a rubbish this film is! Uneducated morons talk about fat.The only nation who doesn't know heart illness is eskimo people who live all their lives on fish, rein deer's meat and sea mamals meat and fat =Atkins diet.Modern life carbohydrides destroy arteries.our liver produces cholesterol trying to save our lives (cholesterol actes like a bandage but big lying pharma propoganda making billions fighting with it). They just don't want you to be healthy.Stop M'Donalds,GMO,use of the fructose etc. Maybe that works for you, congrats... but it doesn't apply to everybody. That advice has been given for years and the problem is only getting worse. Eat your proteins, good proteins not the nitrates nitrite laden crap. You will think better, your moods stabilize, your life will overall turn better.
I have been on this diet for years. My mind is clear, my concentration has improved, my skin is great. Love it. And I lost a weight, but then the dreaded plateau occurred. I found then that b/c I was feeling better over all, I could increase my exercise. I dropped a lot more weight after. Atkins helped clear out some carbs which were harming my body such as the no flour grain husk bread which made me feel as if I were aging rapidly. All is well now. I have been on a high protein and veg diet for a week today and I have noticed that my sugar cravings are gone. I have struggled with obscene sugar cravings all my life so this is a big deal. The studies in this documentary are all crap... the high fat spaghetti study is the worst one of all. Carbs are the answer why people eat more. Carbs increase insulin; insulin increase appetite and store calories as body fat.The Atkins-diet is unhealthy as fuck... I tried it only for a week to see how it would affect my body and I felt like as if I'm about to collapse. I was pale and had no energy -_-. Most people that call it unhealthy or who talk about the issues you described did not go through each of the phases. Phase one which will most likely result in withdrawal from sugar will have you feeling like crap. I lost 25 lbs on it in 2 months and I actually was on the heavy end of the healthy weight range for my height. I continued through each of the phases to maintenance. Each phase of the diet incorporates items that you previously could not have to find the right ratio.jesus christ are people this fucking gross and pig-like they can't handle eating any less than constantly? i am on the adkins diet, I lost allot of weight, and I did a nutrition check and I was fine, I dont cook my food in allot of fat, I cook my meet in water, and take only lean meat, but hey these people are only looking for a story.
that still doesn't prove that there can't be other problems caused by things like lack of fiber, or the potential for cancers based on high protein, and then there is the problem of meat often not being grown well. Keep in mind I am not trying to talk you out of it, just showing the other side of the argument and hoping that you don't believe everything is just as it seems.
I already told you. i know the bad fat is the reason that stopping 6 pack coming outside even we work out well. Listen to this one of my friend working in fitness field suggested me this 7 secret food items to kill our jelly belly. check it out here bit.ly/18NkTQh?=mdjrt.
It's funny that this documentary still makes it seem like a bad thing despite the fact it is good for you. Click my username, then click the link in the comments, watch the vid and you will learn the SCIENCE to use your metabolism to destroy your body fat.Dr. Atkins is dead, his main critic and creator of the Ornish Diet, Dr. Dean Ornish is still alive, skinny and healthy. The Atkins diet is a calorie-limited diet just like the others. Junk food isn't high in fats, its actually high in carbohydrates AND fats, so its a double-whammy.
The amount of money ppl spend on diets, Why dont they just pay a personal trainer? Also learn knowledge from them? :/.
The foods your eat are the key to weight loss. I've lost 4.5kg in just over a month doing no exercise. I just cut sugar from my diet. Dr Peter Attia ate the food pyramid to the letter and exercised 3 to 4 hours a day and gained weight and developed metabolic syndrome (which increases the risk of heart disease). He talks about this on the video: "Peter Attia: What if blaming the obese is blaming the victims?".
2 JhonLemon : It's not that hard to lose weight ! All you have to do is persistent work and the program I went through it here : goo.gl\8jJwRU.
I comfortably get over 4000 dollars per month just by responding to easy online surveys at home. This site shows every detail how goo.gl\5qXV2J. My brother-on-law was on the Atkins diet for several years... Lost weight and kept it off. That's the good news. The bad news is that his liver couldn't handle the consent rated protien and low fiber. He died of liver cancer 3 months after being diagnosed. He kept eating those hamburgers though! I wonder if protein (especially from animal sources?) tells the body "your food sources are limited, so don't be as hungry" because in winter people were forced to hunt for food and didn't have unlimited access to fruits/veggies as in other seasons (so you could be hungrier and eat more of them). just an idea, probably not very clear what I'm trying to say lol. But another thing is protein may not raise the blood sugar/insulin as quickly or as high like carbs do.
The conclusion that Atkins works because your appetite is controlled by eating protein does not correlate with my experience. It takes three days for the weight loss to kick in and if I eat a candy bar then my weight loss stops for three more days. If it was just a lessened appetite then my weight loss would continue as soon as I went back on the diet. Also some studies have found while people on Atkins eat more calories than people on a low fat diet they still lose more weight. I don't think it will be long before dieticians start looking at people's genetic backgrounds to determine healthy diets, if I don't do it first. Also, I find all these examples silly because they are all using people from different backgrounds with different genetic make ups. That means different reactions to foods from different people. I'm sure someone who's ancestors lived near herds of say, Bison, for generation after generation, would have a MUCH better reaction to meat and fat than someone who's ancestors lived in a place where fruits and plant foods where more readily available to them. IE plains indians vs hawaiian natives. I have been "doing low carb" for 6 years now. I eat no starch and no refined sugar. As a general rule, if you can't pick it from a tree or shoot it in the face, I don't put it on my plate. There are exceptions - no starchy fruits or veggies; I don't eat pets or humans (even though you can shoot them in the face lol) - only chicken, cow, pig, fish, turkey. I lost 119 lbs in 8 months during the first year of this "diet". If the cavemen survived on plants and animals, there is NO reason we cannot.
When I dropped the carbs (other than those I get in veggies and fruit) my entire demeanor changed. The effect that sugars have on my system is unbelievable. I will never, EVER go back to eating bread/flour/sugar. Nothing will change my mind on this. Low carb becomes dangerous when people stop eating the veggies and only eat meat and cheese. It's not the diet that's dangerous. It's the dieter. I don't think Atkins cared how and if you cook it. People eat beef rare all the time. It's not against the rules of Atkins. You tried to be smart here and compared Atkins diet to behaviour and diet of carnivorous animals! I just pointed out my vegan perspective on diets. Carnivorous animals don't eat fruits, vegetables and dairy products, all part of Atkins diet! Raw beef, eat it without salt and spices, than you will be the same as those animals, they can even eat it at least half rotten, including organs! I was making a joke, genius. If you want to be precise about it, change "carnivorousness" to "omnivorousness", it still occurs in plenty of animals other than humans. Obviously animals don't want to get eaten, that doesn't stop them from eating each other. Vegan douche.I wasn't aware I was dealing with some sort of comedian here! I'm not quite into jokes when it comes to killing animals, so you're free to find someone else. Omnivorous animals still kill and eat other animals the same way as carnivorous animals. And, surprise, surprise, humans also kill each other, does that mean I should do it too? You are a meat eater, I'm not, so nothing to debate here, we will eat whatever we choose to, we both live in free countries. So long, corpse eating douche!Corpse eating douche? lol. get off your pedestal, you wouldn't even be here if humans hadn't adapted to consume meat as well as vegetation. are all your ancestors "corpse eating douches" as well? Ha.Well, it wouldn't be such bad thing for Earth if humans weren't present now! But we are here because we adapted eating what was available for us thousands of years ago! Again: they also killed each other (like today), even ate each other, were sacrififying lives for gods and so on, should this fascinate me also and should I do it too? You eat meat because you like it, don't give me these history and biology classes here. You're free not to give a damn about life of animals, as I told you! how is he a douche? We can survive with eating far less meat, most animals can't afford this. Humans really should at least lower their consumption of meat. For one thing right now we're mass producing cows and chickens, feeding them perfectly good grain while what? A billion of us starves? What does the mass production of meat have to do with world hunger? I thought that was more to do with governments preoccupied with war and oil and Greenpeace persuading third world countries not to buy genetically modified corn which could save lives. But actually, I wasn't even talking about battery farming, I'm not a supporter of it. I am however a supporter of human meat consumption and I think it's fucking stupid that people put themselves on a moral high ground for restricting their diet.Yep I agree. You are smart if you understand you need to eat right at your age to kill your belly. But I heard that most of the celebrities used to follow to kill their belly using this 7 food items. if you are serious go for it now bit.ly/1642Vv9?=ezzls. That was absolutely fascinating. My dad was on Atkin's for awhile and lost a lot of weight, but his blood levels of cholesterol and fat went through the roof so his doctor insisted he stop. But I was always curious why Atkin's helped him when so many other diets failed. I'm a vegetarian, and I've noticed that after drinking whey protein shakes, as a follow up to a work out, my appetite is nonexistent for many hours. The thing is that, to my understanding, too much protein isn't good either. Omg it's so weird that a diet that consists of food humans ACTUALLY ATE (not grains and bullshit) while we evolved people have better health.
Yeah, my neurology professor told us a couple of decades ago that we should stick with foods that are as close as possible to their natural form, although cooking them was still important as we evolved using cooking to make foods more easily digestible. As he pointed out, there are no milkshakes in nature, for example, and our brains (and bodies) just aren't equipped to deal with them. It was probably one of the most useful things those of us in the class learned during our education. Cooking food is not natural, we are the only species that has to cook food, season it, salt it. And we are also the only species that drink milk from another mamal, and we also eat chickens periods. The typical on the west diet is far from natural or healthy. Cooking food is, according to general scientific consensus, what made us human; there is evidence our brains began to grow as we began cooking early in our evolutionary division from the other great apes. In other words, cooking played a role and is as much a part of our evolutionary history, and is as normal or natural, for humans as speaking. We must cook some foods to enable our bodies to digest them. Much of that cooking was ostensibly meat, although plant foods were cooked as well.
By the way, there is a fascinating TEDTalks lecture on the subject called: "Heribert Watzke: The brain in your gut" Watzke explains at the beginning how humans evolved along with cooking. Please don't take this personally (because I don't know you, obviously) but every vegan I've known has been batshit crazy. I don't mean just when it comes to food, but rather in general. And I can't help but wonder if the diet deprives people of necessary nutrients for their brain to function properly.
Lol, in the ice age we had to kill animals to survive, now we can thrive from plant foods. And vegans arent crazy, they are just different, and being different doesnt mean being wrong. Youll get all the nutrients you need from a vegan diet of course, and every vegan i have seen has said they never felt this healthy and this good. Wearing clothes is not natural but we do it for a lot of good reasons, especially in winter. Hunting with spears and arrows is not natural but it's a lot more effective and safer. Cooking food kills bacteria and parasites safer and easier to digest.

Comments about this video: hey kent how are you? I am truly inspired by your achievement! your the reason I started Atkins diet in the first place. I am on my 7th day of induction I am 5.7 feet. Im a female 22yrsold weighting 212.lbs ,How much weight Am I expected to loose. I started 2 216.4 lbs is that a good loose in 7 days? My typical day of atkins diet would consist of eggs or sausages for breakfast a salad with buffalo mozzarella about the size of 2and1/2 spoons and id drizzle 2 spoons of O.oil and for dinner steak. Yes, that sounds like a great first 7 days. I would make sure you are getting at least 2-3 cups of veggies and not always just lettuce. If you want a lot of support, I am running a Facebook group for those that want to do a Clean Atkins Diet, which should help most be successful. Most people typically lose 5-10% of their weight to lose in the first 14 days, and by that measure you are well on your way to success.is there anyway to get off the atkins diet after you get to you goal my reason would be to just eat normal again and not regain the weight and i seen a hour video about studys that the dr atkins diet is safe and dr's saying its bad some say its safe the reason i want to do atkins is its a fast way to get to my goal normal diets take too long so i need to know ifs theres a way to get off it my uncle been on since sep 2012 11 months and last 50 pounds or more and plans to loss more is atkins safe. Don't think of a diet as a quick weight loss program. It's a lifestyle change. If Atkins isn't going work for you as a lifestyle change, then don't do it. You can probably incorporate more carbs later on but expect to work out much more in order to burn them off. If you truly stick to the diet...it would become normal and you wouldn't crave junk. I was thinking like you before... but now I don't crave sugar at all. It's unbelievable how sweet natural food is when you've been off processed crap. If you do it for a couple months and then return to the same eating that caused the weight gain in the first place, you will likely gain all the weight back. The point of the diet is to learn how to eat and prevent the weight regain. Am trying out the diet i want to loss 30 pounds my uncle loss almost 50 in 200 days so how long would it take me to loss 30 pounds and can you eat Alot of meat or just when you're hungry.
It depends. Most people lose about 10% or roughly 5 pounds in the first 2 weeks. After that it varies from 1-5 pounds per week. So it may take 4 weeks or it might take 3-4 months. As for meat, it's an eat until you satiated or not hungry thing. So if that means a pound of ground beef, go for it. You do need to eat vegetables (3 cups per day) too. STOP buying into all the hype of diet pills and body cleanses. If they worked I don't think 35% of Americans would be overweight. You've already done the hardest part, you’re here looking for the answer and I'm giving you the answer. Get yourself into a good weight loss program like fatloossfactor. com or something as reputable and stop buying into all the hype on tv. You took the first step and you know that change is needed so do it. While others are sleeping, we are running. the thesis of atkin's diet revolved around eating as much protein based food as you want to your heart's content but cut out the carbohydrates I'm currently trying to build muscle and get shredded, does that mean I get rid of all fast food all fizzy drinks and star bucks coffee or say limit fast food to maybe a dinner on friday? and then I go to the super market and buy lots of fish? lean chicken? Actually, Atkins diet is a high fat not a high protein diet, so eating extremely lean proteins like skinless chicken or lean fish is counterproductive. If you do purchase those meats, you need to add additional fats to it like mayonnaise. You are allowed sugar free drinks, but are limited to three sweeteners per day. Fast food can be made fine you do need eliminate any breads, breading, sauced items, etc. Hey, I recently went to a cardiologist and he started me in a new diet. Basically no carbs from bread, sugar etc. He said eat lots of vegetables and lean meats like fish and turkey and lots of water. This sounded just like the atkins diet so i found this video and your comment said to get lots of fats too. so should i eat steaks or something with lots of saturated fat or keep the lean meat and cook it with healthy oils like olive oil or moderation of both.
There are lots of different options for meat. Look at my recipe videos for videos marked with (IF) in the title, and those are Induction friendly. There are lots of different options or cuisines featured in those videos from Mexican to Barbecue to Asian to German to American. There is no danger to saturated fats, so feel free to consume those as well. I tried Atkins a few years ago and lost some weight. Then a few people started telling me how bad it was for me and scared me into thinking I couldn't stick with Atkins for life. To make my story short...I'm back with Atkins after years of praying for an answer. I started in July 2012 and am now down over 40 pounds. Might not sound like much, but I'm a short lady. Your channel is so encouraging! My last goal is, I think, to get down to 20% body fat. Congrats to you and your son! Thanks!Welcome back. That is great news with Atkins is that you can always return to it if you forget the reason you tried it in the first place. I hope you have as much as success as we did.nope your perfectly safe on atkins, theres plenty of sound science to back it up, besides its how early humans lived.. high protein/fat diets. 150+ cholesterol is still way too high. we should aim for 70 total cholesterol. you will lose weight on pretty much any diet, but you have to see how it affects your health in the long run. high fat low carbs isn't the long term answer you are looking for. I would challenge you to find one notable cardiologist or peer reviewed study to recommend cholesterol levels that low. Cholesterol is needed for most cellular function as our cellular structures are made mostly of cholesterol. As for long term health, my annual blood work, athletic performance, and how I feel prove you wrong. I understand you have moral reasons to be a vegan. The problem is that those aren't based in fact but beliefs. my bad i was listening to something while typing this. we need to have LDL lower than 70, with our total cholesterol under 150. cholesterol is needed indeed, but your body makes all the cholesterol you need. you don't have to add it from your diet. as for your long term health, it's called long term for something. we'll see in the long term. having "normal" bloodwork/cholesterol in a society where it's normal to die of a heart attack at 50 doesn't say much. and i'm vegan for the planet first. That is fact the body will make the cholesterol it needs and the vast majority of the serum cholesterol is from body sources and only miniscule about is from dietary sources. Said differently, it doesn't matter how much cholesterol you eat will not have a determinant on your total cholesterol. Eating 18 eggs a day will not raise your cholesterol at all. Add wheat to your diet (a known inflammatory), and it will raise rapidly. As for long term, that is a cop out. After nearly 10 years of eating low carb surely I would have seen deleterious effects. Otherwise, you are just playing a bogeyman. Show me a study that says people with cholesterol lower than 150 have less heart attacks than 175 or 200. Fact is some studies have shown more MIs in those with lower cholesterol than those with 200. As for being a vegan for the planet, I am glad. Your beliefs (misguided) lowers the demand and thereby the price for my meat. Here is just one study that the lowest percentile of cholesterol had the HIGHEST risk of heart disease. "Is the use of cholesterol in mortality risk algorithms in clinical guidelines valid? Ten years prospective data from the Norwegian HUNT 2 study." Among women, cholesterol had an inverse association with all-cause mortality as well as CVD mortality. The association with IHD mortality was followed a 'U-shaped' curve. Men followed a similar U-shaped curve (highest risk at ends). obviously you will be more healthy now than when you were 400+ pounds, but what does that really prove ? and how is being vegan for the planet misguided ? it takes over 10,000 liters of water to produce 1 pound of beef; most of the grains that could feed the world goes into animal production to feed the rich; animal production is known to be the number 1 sources of green house gases, water/soil pollution, etc. but do make an update video in another 10 years, i'm sure it will be interesting. It is well known that cattle raising in East Africa has been proven to reverse growing Sahara desert. Making it MORE possible to feed people rather than less. The whole 10000 liter of water assumes water used for one purpose can't be reutilized for something else, and the whole idea is faulty at its core with the math. I would urge you to break out of the Vegsource basis for your facts. But for someone who wants to bury his head in the sands of vegan groupthink, I doubt you will.the water argument assume that the vast majority of the water used can't be re utilized because it cant(includes all the water for the crops that feed the animals, etc) and do you think a report from the UN and the FAO are "vegsource" ? cause that's where those numbers are from "Livestock's Long Shadows" but for someone who wants to bury his head in the carbs are bad groupthink despite 95% of mordern science saying other wise i doubt you will. and blocked me? i thought you're open for discussion. Open for on topic conversation beef consuming 10000 liters of water is not. You want to discuss water usage or vegan groupthink, go to vegan or land use video. Where does the water go when used? This is a closed loop system. The 10000 liters are not lost. They get reused again and again in the environment, But again this is Atkins Diet success story video not how the land should best be used video. As for the source of the comments, the UN is not a political agency, right? I just started Atkins a few weeks ago. I was 255 and I'm now 240. This week I started to weight train. Before I would just walk about 1.5 to 3 miles 5 times a day. With all the protein I figure I should lift. Great story thanks for sharing it. Great story. I was wondering, eating this way, doesn't this increase your cholesterol level or how is your lab work. I have to lose 140 lb and borderline hypertension. I want to try this way of eating but I am nervous about lab work. Are you still doing Atkins?
When I started my cholesterol was 198. After one year, my cholesterol dropped roughly 50 points to 153 while my HDL went higher. My borderline hypertension went away. After 9 years, I am still on Atkins and at goal.
150+ cholesterol is still way too high. we should aim for 70 total cholesterol. you will lose weight on pretty much any diet, but you have to see how it affects your health in the long run. high fat low carbs isn't the long term answer you are looking for. Let me share my story... I used to have 102KG weight but since I started doing exercise and this diet at May 2012, now I'm skinny. :D. No, it disappeared naturally with the weight loss. There is still some loose skin (see my loose skin video), but it's much better than I have seen from ultra low calorie diets.
Vegan Raw food eaters say: Yes to A but no to B and C. Paleo Keto Atkins Meat eaters say: Yes to B but no to A and C. Could the real answer be Yes to A and B, but no to C? A=Fruits and Vegetables B= Meat C= Grains and Sugars.
Atkins allows A on all phases. It is only the extreme few, often misguided folks that go no plants in their diets. Even on Induction, Atkins promotes vegetables and some fruits (like tomatoes).
First - Thank you so much for taking the time to share your success and encourage others! And Thank You for sharing soooo many great recipes!! I am coming back to Atkins, I had great success with weight loss and maintenance for years then started doing P90X and other similar programs (their food recommendations included) what a disaster! I did put on a lot of muscle but I also put body fat back on! Low carb just works for me!! I look forward to trying all of your recipes!! : ).
Let's see Atkins itself has been around for 40 years, and low carbing goes back at least 110 years in fact probably longer as it was considered the default answer to simply cut down on the sugars. For myself, I lost 211 pounds 9 years ago and have kept it off. Exercise to lose weight, huh? That simple? So if you are fat, you must be lazy. Keep thinking that and you'll remain in your ignorance.
Psh, low carb goes back a lot longer than that. It's more like since the dawn of modern man. I find the "fad diet" comments funny. People lose weight and keep it off, they get healthier and stronger all of it is demonstrably true for thousands of people. That's all the matters, the facts. I've lost 70 pounds on Atkins, with blood work in tip-top shape. Results speak for themselves. Congratulations on your big weight loss and keeping it off :). Funny how you don't allow this video to receive actual criticism by censoring the comments. I predict that you will allow this comment to be posted simply to attempt to refute it and block my following arguments against your notion that you, as an outlier, is presented in the standard deviation. Really? Take a look through this comments, and see how many criticisms I have allowed. The whole fact that there are a number on the first page of comments prove the errancy of your statement. If you want to make a point on the comment of the video as opposed to land use or veganism, you are free to. If you want to belabor points or not engage in conversation, I will eventually block you. This is not a vegan propaganda forum.
If you want to debate vegan propaganda, find a different forum and preferably not one that limits to 500 characters. So if you want to say I am not healthy or Atkins ruins your health, go ahead, but it better progress beyond just PCRM statements and address the specificity of my situation. -It's funny that you defend your stifling of opinion by saying "you allow some criticisms", instead of allowing all criticisms. -A low carb diet for a species that has evolved to run on carbohydrates is, wait for it, unhealthy. This is why the atkins diet is an ineffective diet for the standard deviation of users. I called you an outlier, and you respond by calling me a "vegan". -I'm not even vegan. -You claim that I'm ignorant while imposing these idiotic statements from thin air. As expected. Why should I allow all criticism? What is my moral imperative to allowing criticism at all? I see nothing in our ancestral history to say we evolved to eat 300g of carbohydrates per day. The amount of carbohydrates in one's diet has varied dramatic between cultures, and for most ancestral history our number was closer to the number I am eating than the number most Americans I eat. As for the vegan comment, I just received a number of vegan comments on this same video.-So to defend your allowing of the freedom of speech, you attack it. Nice. People that can't withstand criticism are hilarious to me. -Open a biology book. It is a Universally upheld concept of biology that the human brain requires glucose to function efficiently (because fat/protein break down too slowly and are needed for other areas of the body). -Please give me some examples of your "data" while I give you several for mine: :Chinese diet consisting mostly of rice. :European-Bread Continuing. Great, find your open forum for your comments elsewhere. Your rights to post anywhere you want does not extend anywhere you wish it to be. My hilarity to you is no concern to me. Your data does not mean squat without detailing the amount of daily consumption. Saying that cultures consumed a carbohydrate does not quantify its percentage of Caloric intake. As for ancestral diets, I would point to First Nation diets, Inuit, and African tribes such as the Maasai. Continuing from last comment: :Ancient people FARMING for grains -I'm sure people weren't deep frying chicken wings in the 1800s. -You're laying out the vegan guideline although I already said I have nothing to do with that. Congrats. -I don't think you understand what ignorance means. Ignorance is asserting that you understand anything about human biology while trying to argue against its fundamentals. Another sample of ignorance is tying me with something THAT I HAVE DENOUNCED. Are you real?Dude, as for frying wings, what? I am not Paleo guy. You were the one that said we evolved to eat carbs. Stay on topic if you can. As for ignorance, I can't help it if you can't read or want to assume something that doesn't exist. You said "You claim that I'm ignorant ," and the only one to bring up intelligence was you with your "idiotic statements." Hypocrisy much?I in fact never called you a vegan. I said "If you want to debate vegan propaganda" and "If you want to make a point on the comment of the video as opposed to land use or veganism," I am laying out some sample guidelines for discussion. Where did I say you were ignorant? Now who is saying idiotic statements from thin air? Keep your own ad hominem attacks out of it.Btw, I'm actually done with you. You can pretend to understand a thing or two about human biology without cracking open a book, and you can pretend to think that the body you have now is "fit". As someone that lost 30% of his body weight from exercising and is now an avid weight lifter, I laugh at you.BTW - and you wonder why I limit people's ability to spew their vitriol on my videos, you have your answer by your own actions. I feel no compelling reason to provide a venue for your views nor do I believe my viewers benefited by your comments. If you believe otherwise, make your own channel and espouse your views there. I will give you a suggestion though feeling superior to others does not increase the veracity of your arguments. Bowulf, my admiration for you and your achievements is immense and I am in awe of your achievement and grateful to you for taking the trouble to upload your practical, useful, videos. I make them, modify them to suit local tastes(I live in England where we are able to get organic, local and seasonal ingredients perhaps more easily than some other viewers).Yr recipes are healthy and I feel fit. It grieves me that you have to put up with toe-rags like 1whoowns and admire your dignified responses.
I love the fact that people take my recipes and further develop on them to their own cooking environments, ingredients and tastes. As for dealing with the critics, we each have our things to bear, and I really try to provide answers to most as I know my viewers get the same critics and views thrust on them. If I can give them some ammunition to help their arguments, I am happy. When you eat low fat, your body will ask you to eat either high carb or high protein. And people tend to go to high carb foods because they are tasty. Who will refuse french fries and burgers? And not every person like to do exercise. It's a fact.
