Do you find it difficult to eat a healthy diet because you are concerned about
carbs? If you said yes then you are not alone. Now with our new Dietrine Carb
Blocker we offer a 100% safe and stimulant free natural product. Dietrine
Carb Blocker is an exclusive formulation of research-supported botanical ingredients.
How Does Our Carb Blocker Work?
During the digestive process, your body converts carbohydrates,
found in starchy foods such as potatoes and pasta, into sugar. Your body
does this by breaking-down the carbohydrate molecule with alpha amylase,
an enzyme that is produced in the pancreas.
These sugar calories are either burned off, through exercise, or stored as
fat cells for future use. Unfortunately, inactivity means that these stored
fat cells accumulate. The result is weight gain.Dietrine Carb Blocker with
Phase 2®, an exclusive, all-natural nutritional ingredient extracted from
white kidney beans, "neutralizes" the digestive enzyme alpha amylase
before it can convert starch into glucose, thereby reducing the amount of
carbs absorbed. Essentially, it allows the carbohydrates to pass through the
system with less caloric intake.* Preliminary research and clinical studies
indicate that the Phase 2® starch blocker may reduce the absorption of
starch, thereby reducing the amount of carbs absorbed, resulting in significantly
less net caloric intake.
Are Carb Blockers Safe?
Yes! our Dietrine Carb Blocker is absolutely 100% safe and effective. Dietrine Carb Blocker is 100% natural with no known side
effects. There are no known interactions with any other herbal dietary
supplement or drug. Our Carb Blocker contains no ephedra,
no ma huang, no ephedrine and no stimulants of any kind
and are extremely safe if taken as directed.
Don't Be Confused By Low-Priced Imitations!
Dietrine Carb Blocker contains 100% of the genuine Phase
2 Starch Neutralizer®. Do not be fooled by cheap products that
may contain a generic white kidney bean extract plus some Phase
2. Remember you get what you pay for!!! These products may NOT contain
100% of the Phase 2® extract and will not work as well. Our
product is manufactured in the United States of America in a fully
cGMP-compliant, certified manufacturing facility. You cannot purchase
a higher quality product anywhere, and we stand behind its potency
and effectiveness 100%.
What is Phase 2?
Phase 2® is an amazing, non-stimulant, all-natural nutritional
ingredient that is derived from the white kidney bean through a proprietary
process. As a starch blocker it is the first nutritional ingredient that
has been clinically & scientifically proven to neutralize starch,
found in your favorite foods such as potatoes, breads, pasta, rice, corn
and crackers.Phase 2® is a safe yet powerful nutritional ingredient, clinically
studied to reduce the absorption of carbohydrate calories. Phase 2® allows you to enjoy those foods that you love
without all the calories.
Dietrine Carb Blocker with Phase 2® has demonstrated clinical
efficacy through several recent U.S. university-based human studies.
Dietrine Carb Blocker with Phase 2® has demonstrated safety
through LD50 studies, the gold standard test for acute and chronic
The white kidney beans used to make Phase 2® are non-GMO (genetically
modified) while the extraction process uses purified water - no solvents!!
Virtually all impurities are removed during extraction process.

Mar 23, 2010 The Atkins Diet, the original low carbohydrate regimen launched by Dr. Robert Atkins in the '70s, has been reworked in a new book that
Comments about this video: the thesis of atkin's diet revolved around eating as much protein based food as you want to your heart's content but cut out the carbohydrates I'm currently trying to build muscle and get shredded, does that mean I get rid of all fast food all fizzy drinks and star bucks coffee or say limit fast food to maybe a dinner on friday? and then I go to the super market and buy lots of fish? lean chicken? Actually, Atkins diet is a high fat not a high protein diet, so eating extremely lean proteins like skinless chicken or lean fish is counterproductive. If you do purchase those meats, you need to add additional fats to it like mayonnaise. You are allowed sugar free drinks, but are limited to three sweeteners per day. Fast food can be made fine you do need eliminate any breads, breading, sauced items, etc. Hey, I recently went to a cardiologist and he started me in a new diet. Basically no carbs from bread, sugar etc. He said eat lots of vegetables and lean meats like fish and turkey and lots of water. This sounded just like the atkins diet so i found this video and your comment said to get lots of fats too. so should i eat steaks or something with lots of saturated fat or keep the lean meat and cook it with healthy oils like olive oil or moderation of both. There are lots of different options for meat. Look at my recipe videos for videos marked with (IF) in the title, and those are Induction friendly. There are lots of different options or cuisines featured in those videos from Mexican to Barbecue to Asian to German to American. There is no danger to saturated fats, so feel free to consume those as well. . I tried Atkins a few years ago and lost some weight. Then a few people started telling me how bad it was for me and scared me into thinking I couldn't stick with Atkins for life. To make my story short...I'm back with Atkins after years of praying for an answer. I started in July 2012 and am now down over 40 pounds. Might not sound like much, but I'm a short lady. Your channel is so encouraging! My last goal is, I think, to get down to 20% body fat. Congrats to you and your son! Thanks!Welcome back. That is great news with Atkins is that you can always return to it if you forget the reason you tried it in the first place. I hope you have as much as success as we did.150+ cholesterol is still way too high. we should aim for 70 total cholesterol. you will lose weight on pretty much any diet, but you have to see how it affects your health in the long run. high fat low carbs isn't the long term answer you are looking for. I would challenge you to find one notable cardiologist or peer reviewed study to recommend cholesterol levels that low. Cholesterol is needed for most cellular function as our cellular structures are made mostly of cholesterol. As for long term health, my annual blood work, athletic performance, and how I feel prove you wrong. I understand you have moral reasons to be a vegan. The problem is that those aren't based in fact but beliefs.
my bad i was listening to something while typing this. we need to have LDL lower than 70, with our total cholesterol under 150. cholesterol is needed indeed, but your body makes all the cholesterol you need. you don't have to add it from your diet. as for your long term health, it's called long term for something. we'll see in the long term. having "normal" bloodwork/cholesterol in a society where it's normal to die of a heart attack at 50 doesn't say much. and i'm vegan for the planet first. That is fact the body will make the cholesterol it needs and the vast majority of the serum cholesterol is from body sources and only miniscule about is from dietary sources. Said differently, it doesn't matter how much cholesterol you eat will not have a determinant on your total cholesterol. Eating 18 eggs a day will not raise your cholesterol at all. Add wheat to your diet (a known inflammatory), and it will raise rapidly. As for long term, that is a cop out. After nearly 10 years of eating low carb surely I would have seen deleterious effects. Otherwise, you are just playing a bogeyman. Show me a study that says people with cholesterol lower than 150 have less heart attacks than 175 or 200. Fact is some studies have shown more MIs in those with lower cholesterol than those with 200. As for being a vegan for the planet, I am glad. Your beliefs (misguided) lowers the demand and thereby the price for my meat.
Here is just one study that the lowest percentile of cholesterol had the HIGHEST risk of heart disease. "Is the use of cholesterol in mortality risk algorithms in clinical guidelines valid? Ten years prospective data from the Norwegian HUNT 2 study." Among women, cholesterol had an inverse association with all-cause mortality as well as CVD mortality. The association with IHD mortality was followed a 'U-shaped' curve. Men followed a similar U-shaped curve (highest risk at ends). obviously you will be more healthy now than when you were 400+ pounds, but what does that really prove ? and how is being vegan for the planet misguided ? it takes over 10,000 liters of water to produce 1 pound of beef; most of the grains that could feed the world goes into animal production to feed the rich; animal production is known to be the number 1 sources of green house gases, water/soil pollution, etc. but do make an update video in another 10 years, i'm sure it will be interesting. It is well known that cattle raising in East Africa has been proven to reverse growing Sahara desert. Making it MORE possible to feed people rather than less. The whole 10000 liter of water assumes water used for one purpose can't be reutilized for something else, and the whole idea is faulty at its core with the math. I would urge you to break out of the Vegsource basis for your facts. But for someone who wants to bury his head in the sands of vegan groupthink, I doubt you will. the water argument assume that the vast majority of the water used can't be re utilized because it cant(includes all the water for the crops that feed the animals, etc) and do you think a report from the UN and the FAO are "vegsource" ? cause that's where those numbers are from "Livestock's Long Shadows" but for someone who wants to bury his head in the carbs are bad groupthink despite 95% of mordern science saying other wise i doubt you will. and blocked me? i thought you're open for discussion.
Open for on topic conversation beef consuming 10000 liters of water is not. You want to discuss water usage or vegan groupthink, go to vegan or land use video. Where does the water go when used? This is a closed loop system. The 10000 liters are not lost. They get reused again and again in the environment, But again this is Atkins Diet success story video not how the land should best be used video. As for the source of the comments, the UN is not a political agency, right? I just started Atkins a few weeks ago. I was 255 and I'm now 240. This week I started to weight train. Before I would just walk about 1.5 to 3 miles 5 times a day. With all the protein I figure I should lift. Great story thanks for sharing it. Great story. I was wondering, eating this way, doesn't this increase your cholesterol level or how is your lab work. I have to lose 140 lb and borderline hypertension. I want to try this way of eating but I am nervous about lab work. Are you still doing Atkins? When I started my cholesterol was 198. After one year, my cholesterol dropped roughly 50 points to 153 while my HDL went higher. My borderline hypertension went away. After 9 years, I am still on Atkins and at goal. 150+ cholesterol is still way too high. we should aim for 70 total cholesterol. you will lose weight on pretty much any diet, but you have to see how it affects your health in the long run. high fat low carbs isn't the long term answer you are looking for. Let me share my story... I used to have 102KG weight but since I started doing exercise and this diet at May 2012, now I'm skinny. :D. No, it disappeared naturally with the weight loss. There is still some loose skin (see my loose skin video), but it's much better than I have seen from ultra low calorie diets. Vegan Raw food eaters say: Yes to A but no to B and C. Paleo Keto Atkins Meat eaters say: Yes to B but no to A and C. Could the real answer be Yes to A and B, but no to C? A=Fruits and Vegetables B= Meat C= Grains and Sugars. Atkins allows A on all phases. It is only the extreme few, often misguided folks that go no plants in their diets. Even on Induction, Atkins promotes vegetables and some fruits (like tomatoes).
First - Thank you so much for taking the time to share your success and encourage others! And Thank You for sharing soooo many great recipes!! I am coming back to Atkins, I had great success with weight loss and maintenance for years then started doing P90X and other similar programs (their food recommendations included) what a disaster! I did put on a lot of muscle but I also put body fat back on! Low carb just works for me!! I look forward to trying all of your recipes!! : ).
Let's see Atkins itself has been around for 40 years, and low carbing goes back at least 110 years in fact probably longer as it was considered the default answer to simply cut down on the sugars. For myself, I lost 211 pounds 9 years ago and have kept it off. Exercise to lose weight, huh? That simple? So if you are fat, you must be lazy. Keep thinking that and you'll remain in your ignorance.
Psh, low carb goes back a lot longer than that. It's more like since the dawn of modern man. I find the "fad diet" comments funny. People lose weight and keep it off, they get healthier and stronger all of it is demonstrably true for thousands of people. That's all the matters, the facts. I've lost 70 pounds on Atkins, with blood work in tip-top shape. Results speak for themselves. Congratulations on your big weight loss and keeping it off :).
Funny how you don't allow this video to receive actual criticism by censoring the comments. I predict that you will allow this comment to be posted simply to attempt to refute it and block my following arguments against your notion that you, as an outlier, is presented in the standard deviation. Really? Take a look through this comments, and see how many criticisms I have allowed. The whole fact that there are a number on the first page of comments prove the errancy of your statement. If you want to make a point on the comment of the video as opposed to land use or veganism, you are free to. If you want to belabor points or not engage in conversation, I will eventually block you. This is not a vegan propaganda forum. If you want to debate vegan propaganda, find a different forum and preferably not one that limits to 500 characters. So if you want to say I am not healthy or Atkins ruins your health, go ahead, but it better progress beyond just PCRM statements and address the specificity of my situation. -It's funny that you defend your stifling of opinion by saying "you allow some criticisms", instead of allowing all criticisms. -A low carb diet for a species that has evolved to run on carbohydrates is, wait for it, unhealthy. This is why the atkins diet is an ineffective diet for the standard deviation of users. I called you an outlier, and you respond by calling me a "vegan". -I'm not even vegan. -You claim that I'm ignorant while imposing these idiotic statements from thin air. As expected. Why should I allow all criticism? What is my moral imperative to allowing criticism at all? I see nothing in our ancestral history to say we evolved to eat 300g of carbohydrates per day. The amount of carbohydrates in one's diet has varied dramatic between cultures, and for most ancestral history our number was closer to the number I am eating than the number most Americans I eat. As for the vegan comment, I just received a number of vegan comments on this same video.
-So to defend your allowing of the freedom of speech, you attack it. Nice. People that can't withstand criticism are hilarious to me. -Open a biology book. It is a Universally upheld concept of biology that the human brain requires glucose to function efficiently (because fat/protein break down too slowly and are needed for other areas of the body). -Please give me some examples of your "data" while I give you several for mine: :Chinese diet consisting mostly of rice. :European-Bread Continuing. Great, find your open forum for your comments elsewhere. Your rights to post anywhere you want does not extend anywhere you wish it to be. My hilarity to you is no concern to me. Your data does not mean squat without detailing the amount of daily consumption. Saying that cultures consumed a carbohydrate does not quantify its percentage of Caloric intake. As for ancestral diets, I would point to First Nation diets, Inuit, and African tribes such as the Maasai.Continuing from last comment: :Ancient people FARMING for grains -I'm sure people weren't deep frying chicken wings in the 1800s. -You're laying out the vegan guideline although I already said I have nothing to do with that. Congrats. -I don't think you understand what ignorance means. Ignorance is asserting that you understand anything about human biology while trying to argue against its fundamentals. Another sample of ignorance is tying me with something THAT I HAVE DENOUNCED. Are you real? Dude, as for frying wings, what? I am not Paleo guy. You were the one that said we evolved to eat carbs. Stay on topic if you can. As for ignorance, I can't help it if you can't read or want to assume something that doesn't exist. You said "You claim that I'm ignorant ," and the only one to bring up intelligence was you with your "idiotic statements." Hypocrisy much?
I in fact never called you a vegan. I said "If you want to debate vegan propaganda" and "If you want to make a point on the comment of the video as opposed to land use or veganism," I am laying out some sample guidelines for discussion. Where did I say you were ignorant? Now who is saying idiotic statements from thin air? Keep your own ad hominem attacks out of it. Btw, I'm actually done with you. You can pretend to understand a thing or two about human biology without cracking open a book, and you can pretend to think that the body you have now is "fit". As someone that lost 30% of his body weight from exercising and is now an avid weight lifter, I laugh at you. BTW - and you wonder why I limit people's ability to spew their vitriol on my videos, you have your answer by your own actions. I feel no compelling reason to provide a venue for your views nor do I believe my viewers benefited by your comments. If you believe otherwise, make your own channel and espouse your views there. I will give you a suggestion though feeling superior to others does not increase the veracity of your arguments.
Bowulf, my admiration for you and your achievements is immense and I am in awe of your achievement and grateful to you for taking the trouble to upload your practical, useful, videos. I make them, modify them to suit local tastes(I live in England where we are able to get organic, local and seasonal ingredients perhaps more easily than some other viewers).Yr recipes are healthy and I feel fit. It grieves me that you have to put up with toe-rags like 1whoowns and admire your dignified responses. I love the fact that people take my recipes and further develop on them to their own cooking environments, ingredients and tastes. As for dealing with the critics, we each have our things to bear, and I really try to provide answers to most as I know my viewers get the same critics and views thrust on them. If I can give them some ammunition to help their arguments, I am happy. When you eat low fat, your body will ask you to eat either high carb or high protein. And people tend to go to high carb foods because they are tasty. Who will refuse french fries and burgers? And not every person like to do exercise. It's a fact. also, you are an amazing testimony (of hope) that people can keep it off using this particular WoE! Like many people who have struggled with weight all of their lives, I need help with the maintenance, as I don't ever want to lose, regain again!... I’ve done the reading and know (intellectually) that this needs to be a LIFESTYLE change. So, I'm really praying/hoping that this is the last time for me, and I have to keep reminding myself it is a true WoL not another 'diet' - thanks again.
On 2/1/13, for the last time, I FINALLY got serious about eating clean, 'paleo', low carb, high fat, I'm 5'1" female and about 240 right now (so about 100lbs to lose) and it feels SOOO overwhelming right now. I could use tips on (1) how to start working out [I can't do much but walk right now] & (2) are certain exercises better for low-carbers (to burn more fat, etc?).
Really working out is nothing more than being active and preferably outside. If that is walking to start, that's great. That is all I did when I first started. At first, I could only do about 10 minutes to start. Eventually I progressed to elliptical training and biking. I added weight training and eventually started running. Which one you pick should be more what is interesting to you. That may be Zumba, spinning, walking, aqua aerobics, or whatever appeals to you. The most effective thing is the thing you will do long term. Most weight loss will occur through the diet, but exercise is what will make your skin more tone, your muscles more defined, and your heart more healthy. Thanks for the very kind words == it's nice for your service be recognized. :-). Hey Julia! Im pretty much in the same boat as you. I'm 5'1 and 200lbs. I'm getting serious as of today. I did atkins one before when I was 18 and lost 25 lbs thats all i needed to lose at the time lol, what i would give to only have to lose 25 lbs. I think my biggest fear is failure. It seems like every year I try something new and every year I fail. So I figured I would Give atkins a go again. I pray you hit your goal!! God bless. Hello - I've been following your vids (and Jimmy Moore's sites) on and off for a couple of years now. Your posts are probably the MOST valuable and practical that I’ve found on youtube or via google! Thank you for taking time to share all of your knowledge, edify, encourage, and inspire us!
Hello and thank you for all the help you have given me and thousand others. I'm still in induction. Is my memory faulty or did you once say to avoid whey protein? I have tried to do just that. I am on my second time trying the Atkins diet and want to do it correctly this time around. I need to loose 30 lbs. Any suggestions or comments will not hurt my feelings. Gracias. Whey protein is not Induction legal, but after Induction, just make sure you are using one without added sugar perferrably 0g carbs if possible (like Isopure or About Time). The most important thing is to start clean and appropriate to the rules. Don't try to take shortcuts, and make sure you are browsing the recipe sites or videos to stay interested.Thank you so much for your response. See, I was thinking whey protein was a culprit. If you notice whey protein is in Atkins bars and shakes. And they are recommened in induction. I knew I could not loose weight using the Atkins products. I finally figured out why. Sorry if I mislead you. I don't take protein supplements. Probably should tho. Thanks again.
