    I've seen your vid, but I'm skeptical of what you are saying. First off, protein itself doesn't cause the pancreas to excrete insulin, neither does the amino acids that the proteins are broken down to in the intestines. Amino acids gets converted to glucose by gluconeogenesis, but this is to make sure that the blood glucose levels doesn't drop. The body doesn't automatically convert every amino acid to glucose.
    He said that protein causes a rise in blood sugar, unless you're diabetic, this will also then cause a rise in insulin levels.I'm saying that he did not say that every amino acid turns to glucose. Your body allocates the amino acids as it sees fit, if you consume those amounts of protein your body will need a lot of glucose and convert much of it.
    I agree that I haven't found any research that the metabolic advantage of a ketogentic diet is really noticable, but it is there. When fatty acids are converted to energy, ketone bodies are a by-product of this process. One of these ketone bodies are acetone and acetone cannot be used for energy after a certain amount of time and it can't be stored. It is their for excteted in your urine or breath.

    Also about the point you made about your muscles being glucose depleted. If this was the case, it would mean that your body's ability to do gluconeogenesis is to some extent faulty. You also talked about losing muscle tissue because your body would need the protein for energy instead of for building muscles. This will not be the case if you are eating enough calories. Either you eat enough protein to both supply energy and for building muscles, or your body will create the proteins needed.
    I can't really find any facts about low glucose/insulin levels and low levels of thyroxine and triiodothyronine though. Low thyroidism are often accompanied by having cold hands and feet and a general feeling of fatigue. This is not the case at all for the majority of those who eat low-carb.
    About the body storing fat by the use of GLUT4. You are correct that the body stores fat this way, but you are incorrect about it being done without insulin. It is insulin that causes GLUT4 to move to the cell surface in order to transport glucose into the cell. GLUT4 is just another part of this process that insulin causes. If there is no insulin in your blood stream, GLUT4 will just rest in vesicles inside your cells.
